Dear friends, since the destruction of my friend's trailer and crippling of my van in Chicago at the beginning of our tour, many people have been asking what they can do to help. Some have wanted to donate money or set up an online fundraiser type situation. I am deeply moved by these offers, but it makes me uncomfortable to accept money for nothing or as a charity. The best way you can help right now is by bringing a few friends out to the upcoming shows and buying some merch. If you want to leave a tip in the tip jar, we won't stop you, thank you very much, but it is not expected. The most important thing is that we are back on the road and hopefully not missing any more gigs. If, after dealing with all the insurance nonsense and calculating the loss from this unfortunate turn of events, it turns out to be too much for me to absorb, I will brainstorm a way of raising funds that I can live with.
