I first visited Ravenna back in 2007 - I was touring Europe with Stars of The Lid, playing cello in their live band. It was my first time on tour, looking back I was just a little cello baby at the time. Last week I returned to the city to play at Transmissions festival, this time performing my own music under my own name. I still feel like a baby, there is always so much to learn, but reflecting on these past 14 years I am reminded of how much I have grown both as an artist and as a human and of all the life that has happened in between. 🍁 Thank you to curator & friend @donadello for inviting me and to @chris_angiolini (who promoted both shows!) for making this a really special festival to be part of.
