This shift isn't just symbolic: it’s a call to dismantle settler colonialism, land theft, and ALL extractive systems. Our climate justice movement must root in Indigenous sovereignty. Rematriation (returning the Sacred to the Mother through the restoration of Indigenous lands and lifeways) is a necessary step toward achieving our Liberation Horizon.
