I’m finding that the hardest part about taking time off is the push to come back, but I’m here and somewhat rested after taking the time to reflect on the past year (as well as do puzzles, sleep in and cuddle with my cats). Last year felt really hard – and to have it end with migraines and illnesses and dr appointments felt like a fitting last gasp that I can leave in 2022. I’m happy to switch off survival mode and get back to making things I love, that I’ll hope you love, and find a bit of lightness again. I’ve been working on my resolutions – less as a list of changes to make, and more of what I hope to make of this year.
