Artist, actor, producer, director, and published author, Chella Man is all of this and so much more. Through painting, performance art and other mediums, Chella Man explores (in his words) “the continuums of disability, race, gender, and sexuality.” Not only is he a talented artist who has had his work in galleries and has participated in artist residencies worldwide, -Chella is also the first Deaf and trans-masculine model to be signed with IMG Models, and was cast as a Deaf Queer superhero in the DC Universe show, Titan’s. Pushing boundaries and bringing representation to all aspects of his art and work, Chella is someone I admire so much.
