1 of 3 Esteban (he/him) I met @este_bardo through Instagram because I loved his New York scenes and his very singular eye. One day we went for coffee, and I realized he was not only the sweetest guy but also a fellow Colombian photographer here. We connected immediately and have been friends ever since. This is a month to be proud. And there’s nothing that makes me feel more proud than to be a Colombian, and specially to have a friend like him. He doesn’t yell, he whispers and whispers go straight to your heart. Just like my country does. I am also proud of @verdidesign for giving me the freedom to photograph their Pride campaign with three of my closest friends, three free spirits, three strong role models who, like me, found home in New York. I’m thankful to @este_bardo for sharing his most intimate stories with me. I wish I could express in words how much this means to me, so I hope this project does justice to you.
