At the start of the pandemic, Dave Choe and Roy Choi invited me to lunch, and then that lunch became a weekly thing and now Thursday’s become my favorite day of the week. There are so many entertaining stories shared from such varied life experiences. And I’ve also discovered some of Los Angeles’ finest, most obscure, hole-in-the-wall, and critically acclaimed restaurants because of it.
