The end of an era. This was the first big purchase I ever made for myself when I moved to LA. I had a little 50cc Yamaha scooter that I used to dodge around taxicabs in NYC to go to all my auditions, and I loved it. When I moved here, I said to myself if I ever book a big acting job, I’m gunna do it right and get myself a Vespa. So, in 2005, on basically my first audition, I somehow became a spokesman for @applebees (a whole different story altogether), and found this baby on eBay while traveling to Reno to perform for the Applebee’s brass. I rode it for years and had a ton of fun on trips to the beach with @crankykitten , or avoiding traffic and parking issues when heading in to Hollywood on a Friday night for a Former Future gig. But then Beckett was born and riding a scooter just became too risky, so it sat in the garage for years, then outside under a sun-baked tarp after the garage became our Covid office/studio/playroom. So today I finally pulled the trigger and sold it to a guy who is going to fix it up and appreciate it the way I did. Fare thee well, ol’ greenie. You were rad. #vespa @vespa #shrimpsensations
