Sound on, please 🔈 🎶 ❤️ This Jacques Brel classic as interpreted by Nina Simone is the perfect soundtrack for the new @guerlain Ombres G eyeshadow quad in 360 Mystic Peacock. This quad is my new love and I don't want it to ever leave me 😜 (too much?) The colors are of course beautiful, but what I love the most are the formulas. They are so easy on the eyelids, melted right on and stayed for several hours without too much creasing/eyelid wrinkle accentuation. The standout blue shade is a satin, which makes it more buildable/wearable across a wide range of makeup styles. It works for bold color lovers, but it's also very easy to softly blend it out. Yet I think my favorite shade is the copper, which is silky and has the *slightest* hint of pink sparkle running through it. (I fell in love with the combination of blue and orange through the @natashadenona Metropolis palette + a @katiejanehughes #kjhacademy assignment back in May 2021–my first!—in which she paired a blended blue and green eye with a burnt orange lip.) As is probably obvious given that Guerlain is a 200+-year-old Parisian luxury perfume house, she's expensive... $85 US dollars, to be exact. So, I would never suggest that a reasonable person buy this.
