Happy #MarvelousMonday Family!!  Fam, I can't believe it's been a week already since I Celebrated, what had to be, one of the most Spectacular Fashion, Appreciation & Awards Shows that I have Attended in a Very long time! Held at the Illustrious #SalamanderHotelDC Formally the Mandarin Oriental. From the Moment you entered the Hotel & saw that Breathtaking #ChristmasTree, Standing 25 ft in the air,  Exquisitely Decorated, you knew Exactly what kind of an Evening you were looking forward to getting! Down the escalator to the Lower level, where the Festivities are taking place, you could see, Impeccably Dressed Men & Women Meeting, Greeting, Taking Selfies & Indulging in #Cocktails all the while the String Quartet Entertained us with Music!! I said to myself, OH, WHAT A NIGHT we are going to have!! Now Fam, besides having a Fashion Show & Awards Ceremony, let me Enlighten you to what The #GatsbyShowcase is All about!! You see, Dr. Bertrand Fote, Because of his Fashion experience and his Beautiful Wife Mrs. Laura Ayuk Takem Fote, the Proprietor of a Luxury Event rental company, L&B Concepts, Always Believed in Reaching Back & Helping Forward!! So The Night, The Event, The Mission of The Gatsby Showcase Foundation is to Empower historically disadvantaged groups of people to achieve Economic independence. What a Selfless way to Give Back..Cheers to the Gatsby Showcase event team! You know,  it takes a Team to pull off a feat such as this & I Believe Bertrand & Laura could not have found any better of a person to entrust that job to but Joelle Bailey! Congratulations to Joelle & Laura for Selecting my Dear Friend, Celebrity Stylist, Mr. Ron Cooke, as the #Fashion show Producer & Director. And to bring us that Special Touch of Class, The Vivacious @VivicaAFoxx was the Celebrity Host for the Evening!! There were Several Awards Given out during the Event, And I am STILL Humbled to be included in that list of Recipients, but the Highest Honor of the night, The Legend Award, Went to the Icon, Supermodel Beverly Johnson.
