The momentum is growing around the protests in Iran. Images of young women bravely risking their lives at this point to speak out can be found all over social media. As are images of Iranians around the world coming together to show support and solidarity. The death of a young woman #mahsaamini may have sparked this latest round of protests— BUT this time it is different. The younger generation is fighting for their future. For the past 43 years so much has been brewing within the Islamic Republic of Iran that now is a pivotal moment. I always say we as human beings have to take the time to understand what’s going on around us. We are all part of a global community. And this is why this matters.
