Fashion week is close approaching. I’m so excited to see all the diversity in all the shows. Over the recent years it’s been getting better and better but there is still so much missing. What designers will set the tone or who will just miss the moment. I would love to see more able-bodied humans, like amputees and people in prosthetics or wheelchairs, Albinos from different skin conditions and skin tones. Short models also very tall models. The more curve models the better. Non-binary folks are really incredible and WE can’t forget our trans brothers and sisters especially the ones of COLOR on the runway. Seeing models from all ages and walks of life allows us to see life from every walk of life. Let fashion be a reflection of what the world looks like especially right now. It just feels good to be seen and celebrated. Why is that hard for some ARTISTS to do. Just like this photo, this was shot last year at the @Dior fashion show during Paris fashion week. My 1st time PERSONALLY being invited to such an iconic designers runway presentation. The amazing feedback I received from this moment was truly historic for people like me. I truly hope I can continue having more of these moments, because it’s so important for inclusion in these elite spaces where we should all be included. I Hope everyone in fashion do their part and I will continue doing mine. Best of luck to all the models, designers and everyone creating art while fighting for their dreams.
