The collaboration between Lalique and Zaha Hadid Design dates back to 2014 with the birth of Crystal Architecture. It has been described by Design Directors Maha Kutay and Woody Yao as "a process that goes way beyond a simple translation from sketch to object, it is a two-way system that allows for continuous and mutually benefitting exchange of ideas, methods and solutions". The collection combines the expertise of master-glassmakers with the creativity and rare talent of an architect and designer of world renown.
