Well I don’t even know where to start guys. It was almost two years ago when I met @jake.h.m and somehow, someway he knew that this weird, funny, heartfelt script was just what I needed. At the time, he brought it to me with the idea of, “when I make this, you’re gonna be on it.” He made it sound like even the thought of making it was so far away, yet here we are. We just made a whole ass feature film! I really do thank Jake for respecting me and believing in my talents enough to give me the title of head writer (along with 🐐 @kei_gonza) and executive producer. I think it’s rare in life that you get even one chance to meet someone you immediately click with. I was lucky enough to have that experience so many times over on this set. The Dusty the Cowboy Variety Hour has lead me to make friends and collaborators for life and I couldn’t be happier.
