Only two books read but both were strong ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reads and I hit my (updated) goal of 40 books in 2025! 🎉 ✨Alchemy of Secrets by Stephanie Garber I LOVED this book. It kept me hooked from start to finish (and company while I was in bed unwell) and I thought it was a fun step into adult fantasy for Garber. I’ve read the OUABH trilogy and Caraval, so was familiar with Garber’s writing, and can really see how much it’s developed. It also didn’t hurt that I had the fabulous @FairyLoot edition of the book to look at too 😍 👻 A Haunting in the Arctic by C. J. Cooke Cooke is a new author for me and I have to say I am really impressed and will be reading more. This was so gripping and hauntingly sad in places.
