Several interviewers have asked who I would fantasy cast in The It Girl and I flailed each time as I hadn't had a chance to think about it, however I now have, and here are my picks! I think @daisyedgarjones would be an amazing Hannah. She's got the emotional range and subtlety to play Hannah at both 19 and 29, and to show what the murder of her best friend does to her, and how the court case changes her as a person. For April, you'd need someone with absolutely leap-off-the-screen vitality and charisma, as well as a kind of glorious f*** you energy, and I think @florencepugh would be perfection. For Will, I'd cast @hshq ! He's another actor who could pull off a character who ages a decade over the course of the film, and he's physically very similar to how I imagined Will. And I think he could encapsulate Will's combination of tenderness, but slight unknowabilty. So those are my picks. Do you agree?
