lessons i’ve learned over the years #moonzzmantra 1. it’s you vs. you - comparison is truly the thief of joy. if it helps to push you forward, sure - think of others as even more inspiration and fire under you to push you to be better at your craft... but at the end of the day, you are working toward being a better version of you than yesterday. you vs. you 💯 2. resilience - you will hear no & you will inevitably hear comments + *outside noise* that hurts your feelings. remember why you started!!! you are stronger than the projections of others. 3. collaboration over competition — once you invite others into your creative process or at least become more comfortable sharing your art, you will learn that you can succeed with the help of others that believe in you, in your vision, and your goals. surround yourself with those that lift you up and support you no matter what x #lessonslearnedinlife #losangelesmusician #moonzz
