I get asked all the time how I keep my waist small while bulking to grow my lower body🍑
The real & honest answer is genetics
You can still achieve results through consistent progressive overload with compound movements, & if you’re bulking do a clean bulk, train upperbody to create the illusion of a smaller waist. but also remember genetics play a large role & to not tear yourself down if your progress is taking longer or might look different from someone else’s.
Too often I see videos like this taking advantage of ppl especially beginners by using clickbait stuff like this to sell their programs or meal plans. Not even acknowledging genetics play the biggest role in where we store fat & where we don’t, how quickly or slowly we build muscle.
It wasn’t bc of their fave tuna sandwich recipe💀 it was mostly their genetics
Even if we eat the same, train the same, our bodies & genetics are different. Never compare your journey/progress to others. & when you see those types of videos pls keep that in mindđź’“
* Psa this post wasn’t to discourage others from continuing their journey.. results can be made for EVERYONE.. but just bc you buy that fitspos meal plan or workout plan doesn’t mean you’re going to look EXACTLY like that or achieve results as quickly as they did. Genetics play a huge role and I feel as though it’s heavily down played so ppl can make $ on beginners. Never compare yourself to others bc we were all made to be different & that’s what makes us beautiful💓
