👠 We are seeking 2 dynamic young actors for our upcoming production of KINKY BOOTS! Auditions will be held at North Shore Music Theatre on August 20. Sign in starts at 10am. Audition begins at 10:30am. We are seeking two boys for the roles of 'Young Charlie' & 'Young Simon/Lola'. YOUNG CHARLIE • Caucasian; Age 7-12 • Charlie as a young boy. • Lost, quiet, reflective. • Must sing. YOUNG LOLA/SIMON • Black; Age 7-12 • Lola as a boy who already knows he's destined to wear high heels. • Confident young Actor who can walk/move well in heels. • Must sing. PREPARE a brief song selection. Bring sheet music or sing acapella. An accompanist will be provided. Bring a current picture – and resume, if possible. Actors interested in the role of YOUNG LOLA are encouraged to bring heels and demonstrate ability to walk in them. Rehearsals: October 11 - Oct 24, 2022 Performances: October 25 - November 6, 2022 NOTE: You must be fully vaccinated against COVID to participate. Please wear a mask to the audition. Staff will let you know when the masks can be removed during the audition process.
