Proving that you can’t keep a good hound down, our adventurer-at-large Two Dogs returns to knitter Val Chaffey in Ballarat to reignite our Lightest Footprint project. It’s just over six weeks since Two Dogs dropped Val 17.5kg of our zero-emission wool yarn. In that time the prolific needler has created prototypes of hand-knitted mariner-style turtleneck knits and Aran cable knits. Each jumper has taken between 10-12 days to knit by hand and are incredibly detailed. The milestone moment that comes with trying on the first knits made from our zero-emission wool isn’t lost on Two Dogs, who has overseen the careful custody of the wool since it left Kingston farm, Tasmania, in early May.
