@unsungheromovie is out this weekend, and I had the privilege of seeing an early screening. My friend @candacecbure is one of the stars of the film, and a producer. The Smallbone family immigrated to the US with hope after a devastating job loss, and were met with disappointment and not knowing what was next. As a family they moved forward in faith, asking for all of their needs, and stood by one another. God had a wonderful plan for them, and it was incredible to see this true story play out in this movie. The wonderful plan was family sticking together, and the impactful kingdom building music careers of @rebeccast.james @forkingandcountry I was so touched by the love of this family, community , and the entire story. As someone who has experienced food insecurity, and watched my family go from wealth, to living paycheck to paycheck, and needing food from a food bank , this story tugged at my heart. There were so many moments I could relate to, crying out to God for answered prayers , and seeing him provide for my family and for myself.
