I wrote this song about the boy that encouraged me to come out, we made a promise to each other that we would tell our parents, but he couldn’t. Coming out is a really personal thing and you should do it on your terms, so I understand, but it still sucked being a secret, I didn’t want to pressure him, and we eventually drifted apart.
