Hong Kong @janlamb_09 has been writing and recording ten new Cantonese songs since 2019 and directing each of the music videos himself. His “99UNCLE SELF-PORTRAITS JAN LAMB” exhibition from 6 to 20 January 2023 at Gallery by the Harbour features 99 uniquely numbered Jan Lamb hand-drawn UNCLE self-portraits album covers that come in ready-to-be-hung wooden frames. These frames are part of the upcoming launch of his Cantonese album, UNCLE2023, which features a laser disc encapsulated within. The exhibition also features limited Japanese-made merch, vinyl, indigo-dyed T-shirts, and tote bags. This is an all-encompassing exhibition that lets you see the work of Jan Lamb, collect it, and also listen to his latest musical efforts.
