One key element of the Royal Belge (@mix.brussels ) renovation project is its extensive collaboration with numerous young artists and designers. Most of the furniture pieces you will find there have been carefully crafted by the creator, giving them a unique character. This aspect, integral to the building’s DNA, continues to be active on a daily basis. Recently, @curated.brussels project (https://mix.brussels/fr/curated) took over all the common areas of the building with an exhibition featuring artists selected by @_lioneljadot . A few months ago, thanks to art dealer @galerie_patrick_mestdagh and gallerist Sebastien Janssen (@sorrysorry_were_closed ), galleries were occupying the more intimate spaces of the hotel rooms for a new initiative called: @therooms.brussels (https://mix.brussels/fr/therooms). Thirty-six renowned galleries had set up their collections filled with diverse artworks there. Once entered a room, you were welcomed into a new universe: contemporary art, antiques, design, as well as larger works that occupied the central part of the building. Room 469, managed by Lionel Jadot, contained his creations along with a selection of objects from various exhibiting galleries. #artfair #modernart #themix #photography #portrait #bruxelles
