Season 1 Episode 12 The Adagio December 31, 1951 Ricky calls his agent Jerry to check on some Apache dancers for his show. Lucy of course overhears and decides she wants to find a partner and get into the show. At first, Fred’s the lucky partner but gives up quick when she keeps messing up and stepping on his feet. Ethel comes back from the French laundry and the owner happens to have a nephew perfect for the job - Jean Valjean Raymond. Lucy has him over to rehearse but being the romantic Frenchman he is, all he wants to do is flirt with Lucy. She tries to get him to stop but he refuses to quit. He even comes back and climbs to her window at night to take her away so they can elope. Ricky finds him eventually and after things get heated and words are exchanged, Jean challenges Ricky to a duel. He agrees and when he finds out Jean doesn’t actually want to duel, he finds the perfect way to teach Lucy a lesson.
