last night qualified P10 it wasn't great, slow kart and traffic. Race started and I started well pushed thought turn 1 and 2 in top 5 then as I over took a kart they clipped the barrier and spun into me and then the kart behind didn't see me and collided straight into me . I remember screaming as my leg and body lifted up out of the kart pretty much. Another dad jumped over the barrier to check I was okay while the marshal was coming and my mum was running over. I was shook up but wanted to carry on to my mum's horror 🙈🤣 Yellows and i started in P14🙂‍↕️..green lights and I knew I had so much work to do if I wanted to get a decent position. My over taking is strong so I pushed through the best I could. I finished P7 however I was given a penalty for Contact by advantage and I lost a place. 8/14. My coach advised that my skill is amazing and my overtakes especially on turn 3 was " beautiful". I hit another PB too.
