I’m a damsel. I’m in distress. I can handle this 🙀 When I tell you... when I TELL YOU HOW AMAZING I FELT IN THIS DRESS!! This was a dream cosplay for me. Meg has always been one of my favorites, I’m Greek, and she is such a enigmatic character, her bravado mixed with her insecurities made her such a complicated woman. And not to mention her seggs appeal! She is HOT!! I felt hot!! 🥰 This took me 30 hours to make with one sleepless night to get it done all before D23. I had a breakdown because I didn’t think it would take me that long but it adds up! I used my own corset bodice pattern, cut out a VERY LONG circle skirt, added a crap ton of boning. Almost broke my machine - I did break like 5 needles - and drapped the rest. I think this might be my favorite gown. I can’t believe I’ve made so many garments this year. I’m truly impressed with my stamina and patience that I never knew I had! I met so many wonderful people at #d23expo and many of you expressed how you wanted to start sewing. Just start!!
