A few weeks ago I was asked to be a guest speaker at my work strategy day, to share my learnings on building my small business in an effort to inspire the wider team to be curious and follow their passions. Crying was not on the agenda, but I think reflecfing on this journey so far and the obstacles i’d overcome (some of which has brought me a lot of shame as a child) made me quite emotional. I am proud of the little girl who struggled to read and write because she just delivered a 52 min preso (I went over lol) to a room full of corporates.
