Some comparison swatches for Tom Ford’s Metallust palette’s gorgeous metallics! So I forgot Dior’s Beige Mitzah when I was doing this first set of swatches 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I did a second quick set today (scroll past the pics and videos of the first set) and included Beige Mitzah and Bobbi Brown’s Smokey Topaz shadow stick (which is new). If I were pressed to pick dupes I’d say that Hourglass Scattered light in Smoke is closest to the first metallic in Metallust and Tom Ford duped himself with the metallic in Rose Topaz to the second metallic in Metallust! You’ll notice I included the new Sephora Collection liquid shadow in Lightning which looks very different in the first swatch pic but it has the exact same undertone (see outdoor pics) as the top Metallust shade just with a heavier overlay of metallic shine. As you can see, some shadows I thought would be similar taupey shades look completely different swatched with the Tom Ford’s! (But the Taupes in Dior’s Soft Cashmere and Chantecaille’s Giraffe palette are fairly similar just the Giraffe has more silver shimmer! And it’s really unique).
