A life changing week in Spain with my forever ❤️ We have had the hardest year between health scares, a heartbreaking family loss, and some *surprises* we found in our new house (ie. a hidden, leaking hole in the roof ☠️). Throw in touring on top of that and we’ve barely been home to deal with it all. On top of that, I had to miss half of this trip and thought I wouldn’t even make it at all because of a devastating family emergency and flight cancellations. But we finally made it, and for the first time in months, Mitch and I could finally turn everything off and just focus on being together. It was so healing and reminded me of what a blessing it is to have a husband and best friend to get through both the happy and difficult times. I am also so thankful for my artists and friends who have been SO incredibly flexible during this time (including a missed Opry show with @kyliemorganmusic that broke my heart). Those relationships have really gotten us through everything and reminded us what is truly important. I am so thankful for this little trip to paradise. We are happy, rested, thankful, and ready to take on the next chapter, a little stronger because of it all. Now…directly to Seattle to hit some drums really hard with @theshaneprofitt, the ULTIMATE therapy! 🙌
