Removing build up from your previous hairstyle, gives your strands a fresh start before styling. 2. Throughly detangling your hair prevents unwanted breakage and ensures a smooth, tangle-free hairstyle. 3. Creating twists from smaller sections makes a tighter curl. Which leads to better definition. Whereas, larger sections will create curls with less definition. 4. I personally like to use curl defining creams, because they sculpt, smooth and define my curls best. A good curl defining cream topped with a strong hold gel is chef’s kiss. 5. While twisting, I try to stay close to the top so that it’s nice and tight. 6.
