It’s important to get acquainted with your paints — both old and new! 🎨 I recently bought a few more acrylic gouaches to my paint drawer and wanted to play around with mixing them. It helps to see how they work with the colors I’m already used to and what they bring to the canvas. I used to be afraid of “using up” all my paints by playing around with them and trying to save them for my actual art pieces. But the crazy thing is, is that I was too worried about wasting it that I didn’t paint! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Oyi!
