Hey I get it, for some people a Negroni is too boozy or too bitter (we all have different palates, that’s okay!) But if you still want in on the #NegroniWeek fun, try making an “Americano” or a low-ABV Negroni. This version gets rid of the gin altogether, and turns what is usually a stirred and spirited cocktail into a refreshing aperitif. You’d typically make this cocktail in a tall glass over cracked ice but I like making them directly in Topo Chico bottles because it looks more fun. 🕺🏻 Americano (low-ABV Negroni) 11⁄2 oz Campari 11⁄2 oz Sweet vermouth Soda water Orange peel Fill a tall glass with ice.
