Last week, the tenth of CAL FIRE’s 12 new Sikorsky’s S70i FIRE HAWKs touched down at our Aviation Management Unit/McClellan Park in Sacramento. The CAL FIRE HAWK's primary mission is responding to initial attack wildfires and rescue missions; however, these helicopters bring enhanced capabilities including flight safety, higher payloads, increased power margins, and night flying capabilities. #CALFIRE #Aviation
