Six years ago today, on Small Business Saturday, we opened the doors to @ahlouisstore, our entertaining general store. Our second business together in the KBE portfolio, we admittedly didn’t have a clear idea of what exactly this store would become, but we knew it was going to be something very special. Fast forward, and our gift shop is a must stop destination in San Luis Obispo! Emily still careful curates each and every item on our shelves, can tell you all about the other small businesses & makers ours supports and she connects with our customers in the most authentic way. Amber will happily tell you about the history of Ah Louis, how his entrepreneurial spirit inspires us each day and why this building is an important part of the community - an honor we don’t take for granted and try to live up to.
