Chapter 30... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I praised. I packed. I napped and have been drinking whiskey since 12pm 🤷🏽‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am not even gonna lie, I was a bit sad. After a year filled with overbearing isolation, I planned on being around my people for my Birthday. Been trying toughen up and shake it off but this is the first time i’ll not spend the day with family or friends, it stung far more than I thought it would. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So when my mom texts me at 1am, brothers start with the shenanigans “welcome to the 3rd floor” & my friends call me...some at 7am to sing “happy birthday Nigerian style” off key (love you!) I feel seen. I feel loved 🥰 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thank you all!
