the protests started happening while my new song "till you hate me" came out. i completely forgot about it and obviously didnt even think to promote the song with everything going on one of the many layered things that is so painful about this situation is the guilt i feel for having the privilege and the freedom to wear what i want, do what i want and sing about whatever i want the lyric "maybe i should stitch my mouth, i always been a little too loud" comes from rebelling against the upbringing ive had where there is double standards and women dont have the same rules as men i will continue posting about the fight for freedom in #iran and ill continue making music and be a voice for the brave girls in iran who are screaming so loud until the fight is won link in bio 🖤💔
