💅🏼🌹 A Cardigan Jacket inspired by a sample found thrifting in Milan, chain-stitch embroidered with the classic Nail and Rose logo found primarily on store fronts of Asian-owned Nail Shops. The paint-chipped graphic was influenced by the Nail Shop my partner used to live above in Oakland, CA circa 2016. It’s interesting that our System would prefer to highlight the differences in marginalized POC’s when in fact, our communities work so closely together. We have more in common than we think as we share so much of our crafts, cuisines and services than ever before. 💪 Sometimes we’re so fixated within the fabric of our daily lives that we forget to stop and smell the roses....
