one final bow 💛 four years summed up in one post. there have already been tears shed thinking on it. it’s crazy hard to think about everything that’s happened in the last four years leading up to this last show. covid, performing virtual, performing with masks on— all to fight for these shows i got to have my senior year. sweeney todd, my last show... assistant directing this show AND performing in it was such a challenge, but it taught me so much and showed me the amazing support this entire department has given me. i’ve spent four years pouring into this department; the process of this show and the company are truly the epitome of the values i’ve wanted to leave this department with— hard work, encouragement, epic performances, but, most importantly, family and community. Sweeney Todd taught me so much, from how to sing some of the toughest Sondheim harmonies out there to how to lead/direct/show people things in themselves they didn’t see before. forever grateful for everyone in this company and everything we’ve gone through— truly, my right arm is complete again❣️ extra love to my favorite mother, ramsey, as always. thank you for everything these past few years. i couldn’t ask for a better fairy godmother. and an extra bit of love to nate, who supported me through this show and helped show me all the potentials i had within— if i just shined a light on them. i love you both 🥰
