My recommendation would be to layer on regular body lotion to smoothen out your skin first and use tretinoin afterwards or sandwich method if you’re on the sensitive side. There are also body lotions that have been formulated with retinol in it but are just fyi are not as potent as tretinoin. Potent is not always better. Bottom line... should one be using retinoid products on their body?
