 "During the period of making my lockdown journal, protests had reignited – BLM, Extinction Rebellion, the LGBTQ+ community – people were defying Covid rules to hit the streets. Protest photography was on turbo charge, a plethora of imagery was flooding into what was now our interior existence. As I observed this assemblage of photographers, a sea of lenses dotted among the protestors, I would suddenly notice a different type of energy, a figure emerging from this medley of bodies. Craig appears to move at a different pace from the rest of the world – quickly, effortlessly, but in his own unique timeframe. You see him but then he’s gone." Words @jermainefrancisstudio
