This year our BA Textile Design programme @csm_ba_textile_ @jtm_csm and Jaipur Rugs Foundation @jaipurrugs brought 25 weave students together with women carpet weavers from Rajasthan, India, to work, learn and collaborate together online. ⁠ ⁠ To mark their shared journey, they have created an original collection of rugs that will be exhibited at Central Saint Martins in Spring 23! ⁠ ⁠ A key way the students and artisans connected from afar was by sending each other inspiration packs: sharing motifs, ideas and a flavour of their distinct cultures.
