AD: Hello! I’m aware I’ve been quiet on here. Thank you for all your lovley messages. Obviously as a family we’ve been focusing on spending time together and supporting Deborah’s adventures and ensure she has the right support at this challenging time. Things have been tough but life has to indeed keep ticking and Deborah is the biggest advocate of finding energy when the rest of us have none! : This weekend, we are all looking forward to the sun shining. We have a wedding to attend, and Deborah has been encouraging us to try to get little breaks when we can. This post is all her fault!! : A few months ago, I was very excited to shoot some swimwear for this years @fandfclothing campaign. I was really nervous, I said no at first! - I’m 64, and flabby! But Deborah was like “mum - go for it you look great”. And actually I felt great! It was wonderful to be part of such a diverse campaign with some wonderful women on here. @fandfclothing swimwear once again comes in such a variety of styles. fabrics, shapes and colours there something for all of us. : Now I’m just being honest here -yes a 64 year old mum still over thinks everything! Being really open, despite having done this all a while ago, I felt I didn’t want to post it given our current family situation. I just felt it wasn’t appropriate timing so I pulled out of the campaign. For the last few weeks. I’ve had Deborah in my ear saying but mum “I LOVE these pictures of you, I’m really proud of them, share them! I want you to share them!”. You look beautiful and you are my mum and this is how I see you this is how I remember you”. So I’ve thought long and hard about this and I hope people will view these in the way they were orginally intended - to show that we can be confident at any age, shape, size, when we just have faith in ourselves...... thank you deborah for making me do something that scared me, but I felt good afterwards, so I’m posting this for you - and to @fandfclothing for making me feel fabulous. : Enjoy the sunshine and soak up life this weekend.
