A quickbread is always delicious right out of the oven, but what about the next day... or the next? To prevent dryness, pour a simple fruit syrup over your bread once baked. This adds an extra layer of flavor and keeps things moist (sorry there’s no other word for it!) for daaaays. To make your own simple syrup bring 3 tablespoons of sugar and a third a cup of your fresh squeezed fruit juice to a boil. Let that cook until sugar is dissolved & it’s slightly syrupy. Pour over fully baked bread and enjoy.
