Have you noticed a whale tail in front of our hotel? It’s one of 30 two-metre high whale tail structures in the @waterfrontwhaletales exhibition – running until 24 September. Aptly named, the exhibition presents 30 stories of place and is located along Sydney’s western harbour. Extending 6km, from The Sydney Fish Market, Australian Maritime Museum to Barangaroo. The sculptures are individually created by a diverse collective of artists. Including Graham Toomey, local Aboriginal artist and designer who created our bespoke masterpiece ‘Gadigal Country’, sitting proudly in our hotel lobby. The trail can be completed in one go, as mini-trails across several sub-precincts or via multiple visits over the exhibition period.
