Emeralds' Solar Bridge reissue is out now and recieved a lovely review from @philipsherburne on @pitchfork this morning, with an 8.0 grade. “Newly reissued by Ghostly, this 2008 release from the influential experimental trio represents the zenith of their early drone excursions, and hints at the more meticulous compositions that were to come,” writes Sherburne. One of the many excellent lines in there: “Twelve and a half minutes long, ‘Magic’ crosses the depth and density of a Rothko painting with the minimalistic detail of an Agnes Martin.” Link to read and order in bio.
