Woah. The Emmys were surreal and still can’t believe we got to be a part of it 🤯 While we didn’t take home the gold, here’s my speech anyway 😊 THANK YOU to everyone for all the love and support this weekend! It was a literal dream to be included in this unbelievable lineup of other filmmakers in our category (Charlie Brown?? Sesame Street?? Ron friggin Howard??) Congrats to the whole Hi I’m Sevy team ❤️🥳 Particularly @juhmichael @will_bakke and @sam_chortek for being the brain trust behind it all. And a huge shoutout to the Magnolia team, @sum.garf and Meghan Cassin, for championing this project from the beginning. Thank you to the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the honor of a nomination❤️ @televisionacad @emmysnatas Thank you @katymcquitty for being with me through it all, even when it’s hard and I’m erratic and eating too many stress chicken wings ❤️ And most importantly, THANK YOU @sevymarieart, @eicherumba and @sandalgapstudio for trusting us with your story.
