Okay Broadway... #itsabouttime we are in conversation around the negations between the @actorsequity and @broadwayleague and hoping that the league steps up to do better. The agenda is simple – better coverage protections for actors and stage managers, a more humane schedule and safer and cleaner theaters. We have to take better care of each other. If we want to make theater as successful as it can be and invite the best work out our laborers, we must shift at least SOME of the focus to making sure their labor is safe and sustainable. This is a great opportunity for the industry to show up as change leaders, reformers, and investors in the future of the stage and the sacred work of the theater!
