My list for this kit is in the comments. Tips for building a first aid kit: -make sure you actually know how to use everything in your kit, and get some training if you don’t. Wilderness First Aid is a great course to get started. -organize your kit so that you know where everything is -adjust your kit based on where you are going, how many people you will be with, and what the risk factors are for that trip. My most-used items: -moleskin -safety shears (scissors) -athletic tape -electrolyte powder -ibuprofen -bandaids I’ll put links to the @nolsedu kit and Wilderness Medicine Field Guide in the comments also. They are excellent, but neither are a substitute for training.
