#Announcement 국제갤러리가 프랑스 파리의 방돔 광장(Place Vendôme)에 갤러리 역사상 첫 번째 해외 지사를 열었습니다.🇫🇷 지난 1982년 서울에 설립된 국제갤러리가 2018년 부산점에 이어 선보이는 세 번째 거점인 이 곳은 앞으로 국제갤러리의 소속 작가 및 프로그램을 파리 현지에 보다 적극적으로 소개함은 물론 유럽 기반 작가들과 밀도 있게 협업하는 등 유럽 미술시장에서 더욱 활발하게 활동하는 데 중요한 교두보로 역할 할 전망인데요. 파리 내에서도 단연 문화예술 허브로 각광받는 방돔 광장에 위치한 국제갤러리의 파리 지사는 개관을 기념해 이우환, 하종현, 권영우, 김용익, 구본창, 장-미셸 오토니엘, 수퍼플렉스 등 세계적인 국내외 작가들의 작품을 선보이며 현지 고객들과 미술 관계자들을 맞이할 예정입니다.✨ Kukje Gallery is very pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Place Vendôme in Paris, France. This is the gallery's first-ever international office and its opening marks the third location for the internationally acclaimed Kukje Gallery, which was founded in Seoul in 1982 and later expanded to Busan in 2018. Situated in a historic building adjacent to Place Vendôme, the iconic cultural and artistic hub located in the heart of Paris, Kukje Gallery’s Paris office will allow the gallery to further bolster its presence in Europe by introducing its artists and programs to both Parisian audiences and the greater continent, as well as by facilitating close collaborations with its roster of artists based in Europe. On the occasion of its inauguration, works by leading contemporary artists such as Lee Ufan, Ha Chong-Hyun, Kwon Young-Woo, Kim Yong-Ik, Koo Bohnchang, Jean-Michel Othoniel, and SUPERFLEX will welcome private collectors and institutional representatives in an intimate setting.
